About Us
The Little Bohemia Neighborhood Association is a grass roots organization whose members are local residents, landlords, and business owners dedicated to developing a safe, clean, pedestrian-friendly, urban residential neighborhood. The LBNA represents an area bounded by West 7th Street to the South, Smith Avenue to the East, 35E to the North and Grace Street to the Southwest.
The LBNA works with the Fort Road Federation, Council Member Rebecca Noecker, the Saint Paul Police Department, Fire and Safety, Public Works and other city departments to further our mission and goals through the following initiatives:
- Provide community input in the Invest Saint Paul program that funds the purchase and rehabilitation of foreclosed properties. Involvement includes participation in the overall development plan, review rehab and infill projects and the development of a marketing plan to assist with the sale of properties, initiate and coordinate the rehabilitation of the bike trail that runs along the 35E corridor.
- Promote and facilitate an exterior home improvement project in the LBNA area via a matching grant program through the Fort Road Federation. The program resulted in $78,153 in grant funds leveraging a total investment of $191,522 with additional funding available for more projects.An active neighborhood crime watch program by building community communications channel through email and Facebook, engaging the Saint Paul Police Department and establishing a Neighborhood Watch program.

- Promote involvement between landlords and the community by creating guidelines for rental properties that expresses our mutual interests, expectations for properties/tenants and explains the consequences for failure to meet the standards established by the Task Force.Work in partnership with our Councilmember, the Saint Paul Police Department, Fire and Safety, and Licensing and Inspection to ensure that problem properties are addressed effectively.
